Parts Service Supervisor

 

We are looking for a well experienced Parts Service Supervisor for “Richmond Hill Toyota” located at 11240 Yonge St Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1K9, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review parts orders and inventory reports to plan and assign daily receiving, stocking, and distribution activities.
  • Supervise parts staff, including advisors and inventory clerks, ensuring accurate task execution and workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels using dealership systems to maintain optimal stock and reduce obsolescence.
  • Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of Hyundai OEM parts in accordance with dealership procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, inventory controls, and Hyundai Canada operational guidelines.
  • Resolve parts-related issues, including order discrepancies and service delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Train staff on inventory systems, parts catalogues, and internal procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with service teams to forecast parts needs and prioritize urgent orders.
  • Manage parts procurement, including ordering, tracking shipments, and maintaining supplier coordination.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records within the dealership management system.
  • May perform other duties as reasonably assigned.

 

Prerequisites:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, general Business administration, management and operations, other.

Experience & Skills: 5 years or more experience in the Automobile Industry.

Language: English

 

Hourly Rate: $36.00 to $38.00 per Hour for 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

 

Additional Qualifications –

  • Proven experience in automotive parts management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
